About
the Company
Are you a book publisher?
No, we are not a book publisher.
Plummer Printing is an economical printing service for authors who desire to
publish or sell their own books. Our services also work well for unique gift ideas, if
someone you know has written a story and would like to see it in book form.
What's the difference
between a publisher and a printer?
A publisher buys an author's story from them either
outright or giving the author a percentage of the royalties. They send
it to their own printers to be mass produced, promote it and then
sell it to the public through commercial retailers and book stores.
A printer is paid by the author to produce their story in
book form. A printer's job is only to print the author's book, not
to promote or sell it. After hiring a printer, the author does the
job of the publisher and handles promotion, distribution and sales.
If you're not a publisher why do you have books for sale in your
Bookstore?
Our Bookstore has two sections: one for our
customers/Authors and one for Plummer Printing. Our
Author Bookstore is a courtesy
display for our customers; all books available for sale there must
be purchased through the individual authors themselves, not from
Plummer Printing.
The Plummer
Collections section contains a few books that were written and
produced by Plummer Printing. They are available for purchase
through Plummer Printing using our secure PayPal account.
What kind of printer are you?
Plummer Printing specializes in printing small books, usually
children's books. However, we will print any book that meets our guidelines.
See our How To Submit page.
Do you print anything besides books?
No, we are strictly a book printer.
Can you ship orders anywhere in the world?
Currently, Plummer Printing only provides
services and ships orders to customers
within the USA.
How can I contact you?
We work mostly through email, which we check
daily. However, our schedule does not always permit us to respond
immediately. Our usual email response time is 24-48 hours on regular business days (Mon-Fri).

Can my friends, family &
others buy my book from you?
No. We can only sell copies of your book to you (the
author/customer) alone. You, in turn, may sell your book to others
if you desire. We do not promote, advertise or sell your book.
We do provide as a courtesy to our customers, the opportunity to
list their book on our Catalogue page. This is done only with
permission from the individual authors. Books on the Catalogue page
are sold by the individual authors, not by Plummer Printing. We can
not sell to bookstores or individuals other than the author.
